Woah. Think the Mayweather Un defeated record will be sorely tested the like not since Gatti or Oscar. I still think he will be too experienced for Mr. Saul.
Shame about the catchweight as it gives an excuse for the haters to hate on Mayweather even more. The Canelo I saw against Trout is not enough to beat Floyd.
Canelo normally just about makes it to 154 and has had fights against Hatton and Rhodes he couldnt make the weight so it is more of a gamble his end than FMJ but he is a professional and 2 more pounds should not be an issue.
Both fighter protecting the big "0". This is the biggest fight for a good few years and i'm really looking forward to it. FMJ has been dissed for not taking the big fights but this is the biggest fight out there and he will make millions on PPV.
Isn't Floyd stepping up as well though? I thought Floyds usual and best weight was 147?
Yes he prefers 147 but he did beat Cotto at 154.

Very good article
Would have prefered him to fight Martinez, however this is the biggest fight I think he could have taken.
Well done Floyd.
I dont know much about Canelo. Gna have to watch few of his fights.

Canelo v Mosely
Canelo is 22 and has had 42 professional fights
Finally a superfight for Dloyd, nor since Hatton has Floyd been against a fighter with such a heavy record.
Cannot see Canelo winning, and can see Floyd unanimous decision.
43 Mr C he drew one of his early fights, mad though aint it. Mayweather's like 36 and has only had 42
Yeh Oscar really Ridiculous isnt it.
Mexicans have a lot of fights early in their career as by starting at a young age they dont have much amateur experience.
The catchweight bothers me. It will tarnish Floyd's win over Canelo.
Martinez is injured and out for the rest of the year. Martinez looked way past his best in his last fight. Mayweather beats that version of Martinez.
How does this catchweight work then RGK?
Mr C it means it will be a none world title fight as Mayweather is a champion in the 147 division and Canelo is a champion at 154.
Canelo is a big lad and can't come down to 147 and FMJ doesnt want to fight him at 154 so they reached a middle point at 152 which for me will be harder for Canelo cos naturally he is a middle weight and he always struggles to get to 154.
Kash
I think world title belts are actually on the line here.
Mr C
Catchweight is a compromise between 2 boxers meeting at a certain weight and weight class.
Ok I get it kash. Cheers . Yeh I get the disadvantage now for canelo. Might lose some his power coming down in weight.
Yeh both of them are putting their belts on the line
The funny thing is the WBC threatened to strip Canelo if he didnt give up the other belt. No doubt with the Mayweather fight official they will back down from their stance the corrupt cowards.
RGK i'm certain the belts won't be on line. Canelo can't be a 147 champion when he didnt fight at 147?
Kash from what Im reading, Floyd's WBA super light middle weight belt will be on the line along with Canelo's WBC light middleweight belt
Good article on the fight. Floyd fighting Canelo before Canelo gets even better

Yeh both belts are on the line you're right Mr C.
Also if anything the weight would prove more of a hinderance to Floyd if anything, Floyd is small and has only fought in the 150's twice and both times it's caused him some trouble ( De La Hoya and Cotto 2nd round ) .
Whereas it's only 2 pounds lighter for Alvarez which is nothing
