I'm not just saying this because I'm forest and you're derby, but what a load of cråp. The atmosphere at your place has been mediocre at best whenever I've been.
Hoons, so Jeff Stelling is lying then? He isn't even a derby fan and comes out with that, I think you maybe a little bias
Full of shït. I remember listening to one of your games last season on 5 live.
Commentator 1: You know this must be the quietest stadium that I have ever been to!
Commentator 2: I was here a few weeks ago and said the same thing myself.
Jeff Stelling knows Read it and weep.
Why is this on our boards?
Cos Ilko Ram put it on here.
Unbelievable Jeff. The old Baseball Ground was the place for atmosphere. More like a bear pit than a football stadium. No modern grounds can match that.
Been twice and Derby fans were very loud both times. Though considering they were kicking our backside both times it's not unusual. I can't speak for when they're losing
Is that the same guy that did Countdown? He was completely clueless on that too.
Surprised by that to be honest. I don't know any Derby fans that think the atmosphere at Pride Park as special. In fact the ones I know and some ive seen on here talk of ways to improve it. But if that's Jeffs opinion fair enough.
Regardless of the noise you do or don't make. pride Park will always be a soulless flat pack ground. It was built to be the same as half the other grounds in the country and designed purely to minimise building costs and maximise profit. They've knocked the same ground up in loads of England's no mark towns.
Jeff is a legend.
From a Celtic fan.
Never been to a Dervy or Forest fgame.
Poor Jeff, it was a tough season for him last year but for a journalist to confuse "phenomenal" and "dwindling" is unforgivable.

Is it true that Forest are reducing away fan allocation because the locals like peace and quiet on a Saturday afternoon. The Forest fans generally behave like they are at the local library. Strange when you consider that the vast majority have never set foot in a library.
I like the fact everyone has opinions. A world without the ability to express and opinion is a sad one.
He is wrong though
When I watched Derby v Lesta I honestly thought an ex Derby player had died and they were having 90 mins silence as a tribute.
Most Derby fans say the exact opposite to Stelling.
Stelling works every Saturday afternoon 3pm doesn't he, so he can hardly make an informed conclusion. Any game that he's been to would've been a midweek/Sunday game, where it would've been a big occasion that would've obviously brought about a big atmosphere, rare for Pride Park.
He's a Hartlepools fan.
Says it all really. All the big teams in the north east and he supports the small team.
Why he wants to big up Derby just goes to show he loves the minnows.
