No disrespect to Oscar, as I think he is a great talent without a doubt, but he some way short of being a world class number 10.
If he is the best Brazil can offer then frankly they have no chance of winning the World Cup.
Oscar is a different player playing for Brazil then he is for Chelsea. Probably got to do with Neymar, as opposition defenders and defensive midfielders love to gang up on him therefore leaving ample space for Oscar to do damage.
Freedom playing for Brazil, no restrictions.
Saw what he could do under Robbie when he was allowed to interchange with Eden and Mata but under Benitez because of his rigid tactics limited him.
The Brazilian media and public have pinned their WC hopes on Neymar and Oscar. A lot of Brazilian journalists seem to think that both are easily talented enough to carry their team.
I've seen him play very well on the right for Brazil.
