He's just twenty and hasn't played a lot of games. We'll see him in next year, I expect.

He's same age as chel ski's Oscar I think (or couple of months younger). His form for Liverpool has been terrific so I thought that would of merited at least a call up

He can stay out of it as far as I am concerned, and Lucas.

Less travelling means he will be better for Liverpool.

To be fair, Oscar, who he would be replacing, is excellent for Brazil and been one of their best players tonight.

Don't think it will be long before he is back for Brazil.

Oscar had been good but Coutinho plays central or left, so needn't have replaced Oscar.

Coutinho is a far better team player than Hulk, who is from the more talented and lazy tradition of Brazillians.

They would combine well definitely, and agree with you wholeheartedly about Hulk, much rather have Coutinho. The thing about Scolari and Brazil managers in general is the favouritism they have for certain players alongside pressure from the people of Brazil to pick certain players each time suggest Coutinho may have a struggle breaking in.

Coutinho and oscar are different, just because there small and skillful doesnt mean they play the same

That Bernard looked very similar to Coutinho. I guess playing in Brazil is helping his cause unlike Coutinho who without CL football will find it hard to get noticed unless we start next season on fire.

Coutinho still has a lot to prove despite the usual overreaction from Pool fans.

Hardly amazing at Inter and had a good run of form towards the end of the season for a club with nothing to play for and under no pressure!

Biggest thing to come of Manchester since Ronaldo's ego left for Madrid.
