Rooney
Knows this league inside out, is a proven scorer, can play as main striker or behind striker. In general he is just the most talented.
Shreck all day long.
Yes fans don't like him but it would be a dream signings.
He would fit in so easily at the club and is a beast in the prem
Shrek, but we're not getting him since the "rumours" are a load of guff. So from the other two, Jovetic.
Yeah the stuff on the guardian saying Wenger is monitoring the Rooney situation pretty much means its never going to happen.
Higuain in that case
Can you imagine if we signed Rooney & Fabregas!

Defo Rooney but i very much doubt we would be able to pay him 150k plus.
Where has the real football fans gone ?!?!
Rooney is a rival player, and has been for years. Single handedly cost us our 50 game unbeaten run with a blatant dive.
Not for me.
Rooney is the best of the trio. He's also the oldest, experience plays a big factor in football.
Jovetic is a talented lad, but has not yet done anything to be deemed worthy of being dubbed 'top class'.
Higuain is a superb goal scorer, but that's his main strength.
Rooney is an all-round player. And as stated, has Premier League experience in spades, which certainly would make him (IMO) the best signing.
Personally, I don't see the Rooney signing as very realistic. Jovetic and Higuain on the other hand are genuine possibilities.
Rooney will not come to Arsenal. We are not going to
pay £25 million transfer fee + £200,000+ pw wages.
Personally I think that if Rooney leaves Man Utd his career will progress 'downhill'
Apart from Ronaldo very few players leaving them make an impact elsewhere.
Rooney > Higuain > Jovetic
in that order. There's no chance of us buying Rooney, though.

In all honesty, I think for the players career, Rooney NEEDS a move. He is a natural talent. But he's grown stale at Old Trafford. That can happen sometimes with players...
He needs to find his hunger, desire and a change of scenery is the best way for the guy to find himself again.
As I keep saying though, Utd will be loathed to sell him and him leaving Old Trafford without things getting messy is unlikely.

Especially to Arsenal.........................
I would see signing Rooney as similar to when we signed Sol from in our shadow. Its also not dis-similar to Judas going the other way.
I would probably say Higuain though as we need a proven out and out goal scorer.
We should Sell Giroud, Podolski & Gervinho and buy all 3
Jovetic---higuian--Rooney

we won't sign any of them, fools!
Yeah, the 1920s Chicago mobster.
He will take down attacks with a Tommy Gun!
P.s - We won't sign any of the above, no way!
Would Rooney even fit in at Arsenal? I can't see it.
(Assuming we wanted/could pay both transfer and wages, which I doubt we would/could).

Not sure why you can't see it. He'd play up top instead of the useless bunch we have at the moment. You talk as though he'll struggle to get in the side.
I didn't mean he wasn't good enough, just questioning whether his style was suited to our game?
Rooney is a class player and a goalscorer. OK, he's a dirty fat basturd, but footballingwise he is class. He'll fit in our "style" perfectly, and if not, we adjust our style to his play.
we adjust our style to his play

Really? You'd do that just to sign him?
