I'd say yes, give the lad as much game time as we can.
Especially as the big name star hasn't arrived...... yet.....
United will need someone to play the Carrick role in the defensive hole against City. Don't think we have anybody else who can do it as well, though. Id probably stick Fletcher in there instead if he's fit enough.
Cleverly and Anderson in middle i reckon, with Young and Nani on wings.
But with Man Citys 5 man midfield with 3 defensive players it might be a struggle.
the need for Sneijder couldn't be more.
But luckily tomorrow will be Sneijder's last game and will soon be a Utd player.
Fletcher's so thin at the moment he'd probably fall down the defensive hole.
I would love to see cleverly playing this match! Especially if Carrick is out. He looked pretty happy on the ball against Barcelona/Barcelona B. Plus on the grand scheme of things the community shield doesn't mean a lot to me. I would prefer to give him the experience of what will be a very high tempo match (hopefully) against an aggressively paced local rival match. Would really see how good he could be after that!
REALLY!!?? Today is a bloody good day!! Managed to score two tickets to the CS this morning, and now I find out the Crab is injured!!
I couldn't give a monkies who plays in the middle, as long as it isn't that bellned.
Role on Sunday!
what i dont understand is that if Rooney is on the reported 250 k a week then why are we holding out on Sneidjer on his wages? Maybe we do still have a pay structure
did I just hear a pennies dropping
From what I've seen from Cleverley so far, the boy looks very promising. He will surely flourish with the champions around him. Good luck son.
