Virtually every team in the Championship last season was one or two players from being a decent side. Hence how close the teams were at the end. It will be those team who address their weaknesses who will rise to the top. Wouldn't take too much notice of the bookies. The last three seasons the favourites were Boro, Leicester and Leicester. To my knowledge they are still in the championship. Wolves were one of the favourites for promotion and Palace were considered more likely to be relegated than promoted.

1. Reading
2. Leicester

Dark horses Derby

Relegation
Yeovil
Barnsley
Forest.

Yeovil won't go down.

Top 2 I think I agree with Webbo:

Bolton
QPR (although who knows what their squad will look like)

Play-offs:
Could be anyone couldn't it. Agree with Spartacus that it'll be close again and will come down to one or two players. I also think Ipswich will be strong. Watford, Brighton will be up there. Reading will definitely challenge. Forest and Leicester probably top 8 minimum.

Teams in danger of going down will include Birmingham and Boro.

If Forest don't finish at least top 4 next season then I think Fawaz will really get some stick, even if FFP limits what we can realistically achieve.

1. Forest
2. Leicester
3. Bolton
4. Reading
5. Derby
6 Charlton

It's very hard to tell at this early stage, without seeing how the squads line up. But I think
1. Bolton
2. Wigan

Playoff contenders us, blackburn, brighton, watford, reading, maybe leicester,

I think Birmingham could go either way.

Bournemouth and Yeovil will struggle. I also reckon we might see a really tough season for QPR. Hope so.

I can understand why the person who wrote the Leeds article might question Forest's chances - but why are they talking about anyone as their rivals for next season? Rivals for what? Most bang average team in the league. Doubt they'll be competing.

Does someone want to mention to the Leeds fan that BD has always got a team into the playoffs in a full season

Definite right offs then, especially with the players we have and a few key additions

Like to give Leeds a surprise anyway

7-3!

I think we will be top 6, i hope so anyway as I think we are in a way better position to mount a challenge this year then last, and with the players and manager we have, that should be the aim at least.

Would say aim is at least top 6

Hope for top 2!

Also for the Derby fans out there, there are rumours going round that Jonny Russell is being sought after by a late snatch and grab by another team and you will not like who it is.
