I think we might see some good stuff from him for us this season. Hope he holds it together.

He would surely do well in League 1 but despite everything that has been said I still think it is more likely he will be playing in the SPL
Interesting comment Crikey. Do you think the Scottish Premier League is of a higher or lower level, in terms of quality, than League One in England?
If it is on BBC Scotland it will also be on the BBC website in the rest of the UK.
Any debate about Griffiths usually ends up with a debate around the standard of the SPL.
Some numbers for people, Griffiths in the last two seasons has played for Hibs
12/13 Played 43 (1), Scored 28, Age 22 at start of seaon
11/12 Played 31 (7). Scored 11, Age 21 at start of season.
A few years back Hibs had another young forward
05/06 Played 39 (2), Scored 12, Age 22 at start of seaon
04/05 Played 30 (4). Scored 14, Age 21 at start of season.
The young player in question Steven Fletcher.
I am not sure the standard of the SPL has dropped that much during this time, also Hibs were a top 6 team during Fletchers time where as Griffiths has done it in a Hibs team nearer the bottom of the SPL.
Be mad not to try him out tartan.
Its amazing that any player gets a chance to make it given that every league in the world is so so poor except englands?!
On the bright side Tartan, we have pretty much hit rock bottom and griffiths is definitely worth a chance.
I dont know how the SPL compares with League One. I suspect Celtic would be too good for League 1 but the teams at the bottom of the SPL would probably find League 1 tough. Would that be fair tartan?
Anyway my comment was not comparing the 2 leagues, I was just saying I suspect Griffiths will play next season in the SPL.
Indeed Crikey. And I was just pondering whether Griffiths would infact fall into the bracket of being a player that left us to play at a "higher level" and thus give you your first £50 from the puppet.
It would indeed give dj his first 50 quid
All will be revealed about Griffiths when our players return for pre-season training. If KJ thinks he still has an attitude, I'm sure we'll send him back to God's country.
With the bad luck we've had recently, he'll get injured tonight.
Crikey, I like the comment about Celtic "probably" being too good for League 1, this is a Celtic team that beat Barcelona in the Champions league this season and beat Spartak Moscow home and away to mak eit into the last 16 of the champions league. Okay they then got humped by Juventus home and away.

If anyone is watching the BBC Scotland coverage, will be amused that Christophe Berra is there as one of the studio experts, I thought his contract with us was finished did not realise that he had retired!!!
Griffiths quite quiet but playing a difficult role as lone striker, played okay when ball at feet, but out nuscled when the ball is in the air.
James McArthur looking really good, we were linked with him and James McCarthy when we were in the Premier and they were with Hamilton, they both got better deals from Wigan. I know they have both been relegated with Wigan but it was probably worth pushing out the boat for these type of youngsters rather than buying the like of Johnson, O'Hara and Zubar. There is a fine line when buying players but by getting players like McArthur and McCarthy I think we would still be in the Premier League, probably still a bottom eight team but looking forward.
Oops, we only went and won.
Well done Scotland and well done Ukraine. I see Griffiths was taken off after 64 mins. Was that tactical?
Not tactical, he had run himself into the ground playing the lone striker, replaced with Jordan Rhodes.
He looked okay as the harrying striker stopping Croatia playing from the back, he also looked okay holding up play when it was played to feet, but struggled against two big Croatians with the ball in the air. He also took a lot of the set pieces in attack.
A difficult game to judge him on, but a great team result.
I think the future is actually bright for Scotland right now, some good youngsters coming in.
I predict we will win as many trophies as England over the next 15 years
"I predict we will win as many trophies as England over the next 15 years"
Think England will fair a lot better than Scotland over the next 15 years but weather we win a trophy all depends on how well the U21's do and if they make it into the first team.
Playing a tournament is a totally different concept to anything that a player will do whilst with his club. Therefore if we can get our U21's winning tournaments that will breed success into the first team providing they step up.
Take a look at the Spanish U21's

Haha brilliant, and you said all that with a straight face.
Only one issue, the spaniards are talented, so are the Germans etc........the British are not, so unless we go back to our strength of run run run rather trying hopelessly to compete with these sides with the ball then it will never happen.
I agree with you the whole philosophy needs to change within the game all im saying is that any experience you can get in a tournament will help you in the next.
But you have to qualify first to get that experience.
Well, our U21's are in Israel now, lost 0-1 to the favourites Italy and are playing Norway later today. Two more wins and we on in this tournament.
To be fair to our U21's, I've seen all of their games recently and before the loss to Italy had gone 10 games without conceding and played good football too boot. They could do well in this comp.
