Your postings are hitting new lows - even for you.
Chicken you talk as if Harry (or THFC) get top 4 every season. We have achieved twice in 4 years under HR. You are unwilling to cut AVB any slack for 5th place despite a record total, but are happy to excuse HR for blowing a great position to end 4th last season and miss CL. Ultimately they both achieved the same thing by missing the CL by 1 place, yet you consider this season to be 'back to square 1'.
4th is only the benchmark due to CL qualification. You ignore AVBs pts total and deal only in the fact that 4th is higher than 5th.
So HR got us no CL last season and got 69 pts and AVB also got no CL and gained us 72 pts....where's the backward step?

Its not a HR v AVB competition.
I'm rating THFC season 2011-2012 (4th) to THFC season 2012-2013 (5th).
You need to forget about Harry - he's gone now fella, the club has moved on.

Its difficult Chicken.
I think that its hard to judge AVB and Harry as they both had different sets of players.
If you want to look at league position then AVB did not perform as good as Harry but look at league points and you can conclude that AVB did better.
You have to take into account the teams around you, how much they spent compared to you. You also have to take into account what I said before with the different sets of players Harry had compared to AVB.
Levy might spend more with AVB than he did with Harry making AVB's job a little easier. So it would be unfair to make a comparison with Harry then, imo.
You could compare fixture by fixture and look at where you dropped points last season compared to Harry's last season?
I'm babbling on now but if you were to put me on the spot, I'd say you performed roughly about the same as Harry's last season.
Now if you'll excuse me i'm gna get comfortable on this fence im sitting on
AVB's achievements this season: Achieved Tottenham's longest ever unbeaten run in the PL. Best away record ever recorded for Tottenham in the PL (including most away wins). Beat Man United at OT for the first time in the PL. Joint highest points haul (more than Harry ever acquired. Also the most points ever gained yet didn't qualify for CL) All this and reached the quarter finals in Europa.
Mr C, would you that we're going backwards and that we're back to square one? ChickenDouche seems to think so
See my previous post Doovey.
I have. Now I'm asking you if you think Tottenham are back to square one.
Harry did a good job but I'm glad he has gone.
The man is a complete
We collapsed at the end of every season and I think the players weren't playing for him towards the end. Understandable as he completely lost interest when he thought he had the England job.
If Harry had respected the club and concentrated on his job we would have come 3rd last year and he would still be managing in the premier league
Where is square one for Tottenham?
I'm guessing square one is 20th place in the PL. We have to completely rebuild the club and start from scratch again. All that hard work Bill Nich done, all wiped clean.
All this because super Harry was replaced by AVB
Maybe square one for Chicken is the same place where you were last season. I think that's Chicken's argument. You've not massively improved from last season. So his argument is why change managers. It's not that much of a ridiculous opinion to have.
You were 3rd for a good while this season again werent you? So you obviously experienced the same problems as you did with Harry's last season. Players switch off at random times. Maybe its not the manager thats the problem but the players. Your players are good for 4th/5th place finish. Nothing more at the moment.
Chicken you argument is limited but valid. However you totally undermine what little credibility you have by making stupid statements like 'back to square one' it demonstrates bias/prejudice which taints your opinion.
Mr c. Our run in form was steady, it wss just that CFC and Arsenals was superb
