I'm already expecting the 'needs time to gel' excuse we'll get after the good first few results are derailed by garbage coaching and unfathomable tactics.
You could pick a Rams Select Cult Hero XI from all time and Your Nige would still struggle to get a win on the road. We aren't light on players, we're light on credible management.
Get him out, Rush, else you're just pssing GSE's money up the wall
We will see 666, we will see!
And when we do, you can go on the pitch at half time and make that public apology to Nigel that I know you will feel he deserves!
He's been garbage, that's indisputable. If he manages to take on board my advice and learns sufficiently to be worthy of the role that his surname alone won him, then he can come on at halftime and thank me for persevering with him
As others have said hopefully this will encourage supporters to vote to vote with their wallets. This in turn will GSE some encourgement to continue to back NIgel Clough, especially if things are looking in January.
In terms of centre halfs and cult hero's, oh for another Igor!
UTR!
Its not tempting me to renew my season ticket, I'm not that easily swayed, but it HAS made me curious to attend the opening home game of the season, just to see what all the fuss is about. Best case scenario re me and the club for next season is that we finally start going somewhere, I attend a few games and like what I see, and I get a half season ticket come christmas time. Worst case is its same old same old and I just won't bother until gse/clough are gone as planned so nothing lost.
For a change I totally agree with the comments and sentiments of the author....probably for the first time !
I feel a buzz about the signing...he seems a real character that we as fans can relate to, and I really feel he can and will make a big difference next season. This signing too will (hopefully) be the catalyst to inspire us on to top 6 (or better) next season and I'm really looking forward to the new season now. OK, I know we aren't there yet, and also that new faces are still needed, but hey, doesn't it feel great to be optimistic again ! Hooray for Johnny, Hooray for Cloughie and Hooray for Sam Rush !

If I was a Derby fan, I would worry about the depth of your squad. Seeing as that's what has been your downfall in recent seasons
Always having players who get injured. You seem to have ignored that problem though.
FFS sake spotty the season doesn't start for two months
Then why are you all so excited?
Just trying to balance it out, you maybe allowed to ignore the negatives now, but you won't be able to when they're smacking you in the face every Saturday as another failure season occurs
Well you or the dirties haven't smacked us anytime lately so worry about your own house and well take care of ours.
1 game won't, but 46 games will
Eh last time I checked you still have get out of this league so you're point is?
