how the feck would anyone know, ive never seen the majority of those goals, or if i have i cant remember them.
Hmm.
Just because you have the memory span of a goldfish doesn't make it any less relevant.
Many years ago, John Lennon was asked whether Ringo Starr was the best drummer in the world. In reply, Lennon said "Ringo isn't even the best drummer in the Beatles".
In a similar vein, there's no way Weimann's goal can be considered for European Goal of the season since its not even the best one scored by Villa last season. That award would have to go to the Lowton goal. I said it on here at the time, despite being a season ticket holder for the dark side, that goal remains one of the best goals I've ever seen.
Not having seen the others, I'd still be surprised if there were anything better.
That said, and for what its worth, my favourite ever goal was Marty Burrows one for Glentoran a couple of years back:

Lowtons will take some beating
It was well beaten, it didn't even make the top five
OH well I guess it was unlikely too, must have been some good ones.
Certainly our goal of the season and a real important one at the time
