sandy exactly, morphed into Friar Tuck. I agree, we should never let them bully us and if we do then we might aswell bend over backwards for everyone.

Clever tactics from Real, nothing illegal in a ex-player stating an opinion.

We all expect Bale to leave at some point. Remember it's down to the club first because I very much doubt he'll hand in a transfer request

History has shown that when we sell our top players, always for good money, we are weaker. £50M for Berba and Keane and we were nearly relegated.

----

because we didnt reinvest it properly.

at almost relegated. we finished about 8th that season didnt we?

Don and Sandy need to step into the real world. its unsavoury but we cant stop it, and UEFA wont stop it, so just have to ignore it

True, but not to talk about players that are not for fecccking sale. That`s not talking about football.

---

last time i checked Bale was for sale... that is the normal assumption unless someone from spurs has come out and said that he is unavailable for sale? if that has happened then i must have missed it

The owner of one of the local bars, a madrid fan, is convinced Bale was in madrid last week finalizing things....so i had a little bet with him, not too much as he cant afford to lose that Bale will still be playing for Spurs next season....its quite funny how convinced its a done deal, bless...but then when you read marca and modrics interview and all that c rap, it no surprise....the spanish believe anything, hence why its so corrupt here......

well its obviously not a done deal. he needs to stop reading Marca.. which is basically a real madrid paper

they all believe marca as if its been written by god...

How can Bale be in Madrid when he was in Florida with family last week ........I smell bulls hit.

posted on 16/6/13

correct don but thats what i mean, they are all so convinced because they support real and read marca and they think thats it!!!!

i will be very smug when i collect on my bet....

WTF.Who said he was up for sale. Not the club. Why should the club have to put out a statement for a player that is under contract, and patently not for sale.

Every player is up for sale, it's the nature of football.

You tell yourself that Sandy, contracts mean nothing in football.

How many years left did Modric have?

They only add valuation to a players name!

sandy so that means that every player we buy is not for sale?

its just logic thudd..

if sandy doesnt want other clubs to go after our players unless we release a statement specifically putting them up for sale, then by the same token i assume he wants spurs to only try to sign players that another club have officially put up for sale....

Liverpool have said Suarez isn't for sale

You watch them sell him once the right offer comes in

It's just logic

Richer clubs go after the players of less rich clubs.

That is the way it is.

I'm dreading when Bale leaves, because that will almost certainly see Benteke leaving us. Have a horrible feeling that this whole mess will unravel late as well.
