i first heard about us trying to sign about a month ago on twitter...

This signing would excite me. Those we have been closely linked with or signed so far, not so much as I'd never heard of or seen any of them play (Toure excepted). This one looks like a signing that'll improve the starting XI.

From what I've seen of papa he's looked pretty good, but there had been no mention of a signing for a while now.

With reference to Papa, I think there is a couple of issues that have put the club off. Firstly, they are worried that he is injury prone, and considering this they feel he is overpriced...

The majority of people on Twitter give a poor impression of society.

We really seem to be moving fast.

We could conceivably have 5 signings tied up by July 1st (Toure, Aspas, Mkhi, Ilori and Mignolet).

Arguably the most important one is the long term partner for Agger though, and it looks like a deal for Papa is a long way off.

Maybe we will move for someone else.

Yea I've seen people put there Liverpool starting XI with about 8 new players in it, most have no clue about any of them.

Papadopoulos was an attractive option for Rodgers, but suffered a serious knee injury last season and the fee involved, well above the £12 million Liverpool initially anticipated, has made the Merseysiders consider other options.

We definitely need someone else if the deal for the Greek is a no go. I was kinda looking forward to having another Kyriakos at the club

Alderweild the dutch CB has said he really likes the look of the PL. He's supposedly a ball playing CB and, at 23, might fit the philopsohy BR is trying to instill into our team

I know some of us want Luis Suarez to leave and for the right amount I do too but this is mouthwatering.

I'd love Alderweireld as well but he really is very similar to Agger. Terrific player but not sure we could play both of them

^That looks absolutely superb, even if some players do leave, I'm sure we would replace them with the quality they possess. Next season could see us becoming a serious top 4 contender again!

Alderweireld is not what we need.

He a very different player to Papa so I can't believe he would be our next name on the shortlist.

We are clearly looking for a Skrtel type, only better.

Oh, and Aspas of course! With Illori, Alberto etc filling in when required!
