He's a decent young player and a safe pair of hands. I don't think he will ever be a PL standard player but can do you a decent job in the Championship
24 year old US international, yanks tned to always do well in England. Premiership experience, versatile, free, good age, great bit of business!
Free transfer for the mega rich club lol
Ilko FFP dictates
And why not, you have your fair share of freebies
Aah the old free transfer = no money dunderhead response. Maybe we should've paid Villa even though the bloke's 24 and out of contract?
Good signing but I wouldn't agree that Yanks tend to do well...
Findley.
On the FFP topic I believe it was the deadline today or yesterday for clubs to set out their budget for the forthcoming year. If we've budgeted £xM for transfers, signing on fees and wages we have to stick with it. I think those out of contract will be in high demand.
Wonder how much Derby budgeted on transfer fees? £750k down so there can't be much left. I'd hold off making fun of freebies!
Lloyd...we had enough stick off some of you lot about freebies so its just a bit of payback. Im more interested in how King Billy conducts his buisness this way as hes never been one to penny pinch.
Yes but the stick was because Clough was getting them all from Burton Albion and Ilkeston Town rather than because they were free.
As I said there were budgets to be submitted so you can't wallop cash on players here and there. It's a good thing I think.
Being as the transfer window is not yet open, it would be impressive of us to be splashing out on transfer fees at this stage.
I have no knowledge of the man, but Villa fans seem to hold him in high regard despite them struggling last season. We'll see how he does.

Seems like a classy guy
Stan Collymore says he has thighs as big as Pearce so that's a good sign.
Wow, she really is an awful interviewer. She asks the same thing over and over. Poor bloke had to try and scramble to avoid repeating himself!
Beware the curse of the Gingas!
