Away from the whole 2016 thing, I thought he lit up a pretty drab game last night. There were a few moments of real magic and he's certainly a player capable of changing a game.

Really looking forward to watching him against Italy on Saturday night. It'll be his biggest test so far and I very much doubt the Italian defence will allow him the space to play his game. Whereas the Mexicans tried to kick him out the game the Italians will just smother him. It'll be a true test of his ability to impact on a big game.

I've always rated him and said he looks like a special talent, my only negative was the fact that he was doing it against poor defences and would gave to prove himself in Europe against top defenders to be classed add one if the best in the world, which he will be doing next season.

The Japan - Italy game was one of the best games I've seen in years
