The echo is no better than the morning rags these days.
Owned by the mirror,in one headline they say its imminant the signing, then further down the opposite.
The're just like the beeb now, getting their gossip from the likes of caughtoffside and goal.
Journalism is extremely poor in this country now, with no signs of it getting better anytime soon.

What are you basing this on?
They have got all the transfers right so far this summer.
People just get confused between an actual story from the Echo, and their 'rumour mill' posts which summarise all the rumours from around the media.
Paper talk or not... Its been reported from every media outlet in England and even all the reputable ones too!
If Liverpool don't release a statement too then something is going on IMO

Why should the club deny what basically are nothing more than twitter rumours at the moment?

The echo know no more than the rest of us.
Awful paper these days the manchester evening echo.

Tapping up springs to mind.
My initial thoughts tbh Hoody... But I hope not! I dont think we can handle any more PR disasters
Tapping up is everywhere, they all know it and they all do it.
1man. Most of these papers have got their stories from some Armenian journo/ex player on Twitter. They're saying nothing different to this guy. Obviously I don't know this for a fact, but it seems that everytime he posts something, the next day the papers run with the same info....
Skysports and The BBC are not papers??
It would be silly if some bloke of twitter was informing the 2 most reputable websites in the UK of transfer stories!
However they could be adding fuel to fire in a time where football stories are scarce, which I think is unlikely.... However I still go along with my original comment
we will sign him, the echo is the most reliable paper.
I heard the Alberto and Aspas rumours on twitter before anywhere else.
Talks are still ongoing. The funny (or strange?) thing is that #Shakhtar are not even taking part in them. #Mkhitaryan #LFC
Said Armenian journo again.
Dont even have to talk to shaktar we can talk to his other owners before them
Sky the most reliable? The infamous 'Sky source' - it's the fairies at the bottom of Murdoch's garden....
