Kings Road, there's no way that article can be serious. I refuse to believe somebody is that stupid.

Darren, even so it's not the only one on similar lines.

He's good but the Messi and Ronaldo comparison's are silly, and i say the same when cfc fans try to compare Hazard to those two aswell.

TCP im only messing, I wouldnt rock an amstrad in 2013 .I'm not that old school.

Darren a lot think they shouldn't even consider offers for Bale lower than £85m so I wouldn't be surprised

Bale is class but that's ridiculous. Let's not forget that Ronaldo had won the Balon D'or and wpoty (and should have won both ahead of Kaka), and was the best player in the world for 3 seasons, arguably ahead of Messi at the time. Proven himself to be a player capable of leading his team to the title, the CL, and other finals. And he went for £80m, a fee that many United fans felt was ridiculous.

Now compare Bale, ok he won the two poty awards that Ronaldo did. But other than that there's no comparison.

Funny thing is, it wouldn't surprise me if Madrid paid it as they don't exactly look at value for money.

Real would be idiots if they paid big bucks for Bale he wouldn't even fit in their team unless they pushed one of Ozil or Ronaldo out of position

I compare both Bale and Hazard to Ronaldo, but the 21/22 year old Ronaldo who was very one dimensional, but very direct and always improving his game at United. However in my opinion i just get the feeling that Bale has peaked, as someone said above GB is very good as what he does and can see him being the new Robben without the injuries. Hazard does look like he has the potential to get up near Ronaldo/Messi but at the same time could go the same way as Quaserma only time will tell

tbh i find shandy just hilarious, never do i see someone fail so many times yet carry on.

He has started the summer months with a bang aswell, claiming Wimbledon is boring then hours later Nadal gets knocked out by someone seeded 117 or something like that

Bale was honestly the most under-rated player in the league for a long time. I made a article back in 2009 saying we should go for him as he was getting frozen out by Arry and reduced to being the reserve LB.

He's like Scholes in that respect, a great player under appreciated for god knows how long then all off a sudden every one started noticing that then compensated for that by going too far the other way.

Ledley King was another under appreciated player, putting my hostility for Tottenham and the fact he is a thug aside, i honestly believe if he had an injury free career he would have been one of the best defender's to ever grace the game.

The comparison is bale plays for spurs and ronaldo played for utd. You cannot compare medals man u are a better and bigger team than spurs. That's a big reason why the media goes crazy trying to sell our best players as they want them at the biggest clubs. That's a big reason what's wrong with football people don't give the players the respect unless they have the medals to back it up. Its wrong. For example is Andy Cole bale a better striker than shearer?

I don't think it really matters who they play for. Ronaldo was, and is, just a much better player than Bale. That's not to say Bale isn't fantastic, but the comparison is a bit premature as they really aren't in the same league as footballers.

Hazard is better than Bale.

Whats the argument for Bale here? im curious, cant be asked reading this thread

And are people still saying Mata > Hazard? my god, some people really need to follow a different sport.

The gap between Messi and Ronaldo is smaller than people believe. Honestly.

Ronaldo is top 5 all time.

Everyone is missing the point here. The real debate should be who would be better playing for Stoke. That would settle it.

Bale with his super long throws or Hazard for his precision in kicking man (or ball boy) instead of the ball.

Stoke would probably be proud to have them both.

Messi is generally more likable among the masses so that helps him as well.

Had Ronaldo stayed with United, he would have won more trophies and might had an extra CL as well which could have won him another award or may be 2.

this year Messi won again but he didn't won any trophy last season.
