Right,

A real range of comments regarding Kalou.

From 'I'd have him back at Chelsea' to 'one of our poorest players since Roman came'.

JH if you hang on a little bit more, you'll get the posters who wanted a statue built of him and a stand renamed, in his honour.

So there you go Baggie, he's either brilliantly sh it or cluelessly superb.

You decide, it's make your mind up time!!

Hmmmmm...

Can't we just have Lukaku back instead?

posted on 3/7/13

Hmmm.....................Congratulations that is the right answer

I hope we sign Kalou.

He'd flourish in a good team

He was a nice lad and kept his boots nicely polished!

Kalou would be good for the Baggies.

One to stick in the old FF for next season.

Kalou is not a bad signing, over the years at cfc he scored a lot of important goals, he is consistently inconsistent , but he will get goals if starts on a regular basis id assume he will get 10 + a season no problem.

@Chrislepkowski
Anelka due at West Bromwich Albion for talks today. Could become club's first signing if all goes to plan. birminghammail.co.uk/sport/football… #wba

@chrislepkowski
Anelka (should he sign) can only help the Mulumbu/contract situation. Good pals + YM wanted to gauge club's ambition before committing #wba
10:32am - 4 Jul 13

Should sign him for that alone!!!!!!!!!!

The more I think about it, the more I welcome the signing of Anelka.

Who's more likely to come off the bench and grab you a goal, Anelka or Fortunè/Rosenberg?

I hope Anelka signs.
I know he is 34 but he will become one of the best players ever to don a WBA shirt. When you think that another great former player Kevin Phillips is 39 and might still feature in the PL next year - 34 does not seenm so old.

It's not about Anelka........It's about his brother !

Expecting #wba to announce signing of Anelka in next 24 hours - maybe even before close today - subject to medical being ok.

I see Newcastle are in for Kone now. If they can go in for him, so can we. I think we're a much better club than Newcastle, but as usual, Newcastle can offer silly wages.

His brother is surely called Anelka too.... so what the brother's Christian name, and how old is he?

posted on 4/7/13

Don't know his brothers name,or his age,but I know that he's the godfather of the family .

Anelka > Rosenberg.

Brilliant signing.

And 19 year old Nathan Redmond meanwhile signs a 4 year deal with Norwich.

Not bothered in the slightest.

Got loads of Bluenose mates and work mates who really don't rate Redmond.

No loss they tell me.

Nicolas Anelka's older brother Didier is,or used to be, his agent. It was he who persuaded a very young Nicolas to leave Arsenal for Real Madrid, at about age 20.

OFFICIAL - Anelka signs.

2 year deal.
