Strange

He's going on the vibes he's getting from those who are tweeting him. So they need to cut him some slack and don't panic

No worries, there's still a month before the season starts and that's plenty of time, Fawaz gets bombarded by idiots on twitter and he's reassuring them (not that they listen), like Pep says.

I didn't realise he was getting any idiots on at him at the mo - it's all seemed pretty quiet. Don't really get what people have to moan about. Been making some solid signings, I thought. The window's only just opened ffs.

It is strange but maybe he is responding to some idiots. This is one of the most positive starts to a transfer window we've ever had isn't it? I'd like to see some more signings at CB and upfront but it's very positive so far.

Twitter is a Mecca for bellends. Hopefully Fawaz knows that what he reads on there is not a true reflection of the feelings of Forest fans as a whole.

Rev, you mean they are tweeting Fawaz to tell him we desperately need a striker ...buy Connor Sammon from Derby Yep I can see the sheep fans doing that tbh.

You could do alot worse Pep. He costs half as much as Cox and scores more goals

I wouldn't be surprised if its just a load of sad miserable Derby supporters pretending to be Forest fans and just moaning and hassling him

Is it anything to do with Birtles' ridiculous article in the Evening Post.

Hoons ^^^^^
Brilliant.

And rev !!!!???
Wash your mouth out with holy water potty mouth!!

It may just be the fact that fatwas knows what's coming.... And he's soooo excited he's got to say something!! Just like the young Pye lad last year! Remember him saying - "something big is about to happen & it's very exciting!!!"

To which marthur (remember him!!!!???) said " no no .... There's nothing to see here, move along, this Pye character doesn't know what he's talking about..."

There was a Sheep on Fawaz's Twitter last night and he showed great humour putting him in his place. I've just got a feeling we are going to hear something massive in the next week or so regarding sponsor and signings. On the subject of twitter - Henri Lansbury has just started following Hooper from Celtic.

Does everyone still think we might even have a sniff at hooper? I'm telling you he's 30 goals a season in this division. I really hope it will happen just can't see it.

The last goalscorer we got from Celtic was a ok....

Scored a few goals before throwing his dummy out of the pram

Clarky - I don't think we stand a chance of getting Hooper. There will be Prem clubs all over him and he won't leave Celtic for the Championship. I'd say we're more likely to get Austin or Sharp. Or neither!

No chance, Hooper and Austin will be aiming higher than us.

Last time I said we had no chance was when we were linked with DJ and Platt was in charge.

I think some fans are just not happy if we do not get a signing every day or do not win every game.

5 signings though at this time of the season is good and hopefully just a couple more and we should be there!

The love between Billy and Fawaz is funny especially after what we had previously

Billy still looks like a miserable sod on all the videos though...

With FFP coming in I imagine negotiations for players are going to take longer than they used to as clubs have realised they can't afford the astronomical sums that agents want for their clients. Forest will be playing hardball with several player's agents and will not want to increase their wage bill significantly.

I don't think there is any need to worry unduly. I am quite encouraged by all the signings so far and have a feeling that the best are yet to come.

Agree with you there Scarlet, just have a feeling a few quality signings will be on the horizon!
