Where have you seen/heard this?

Not had a chance to think about who the player could be but what jumps out at me from that article was that the owners went to BM for his opinion!!!

Shows they possibly were willing to compete if he really wanted them to? Also pleased with BM saying no let them have him! It's nice that he considers all aspects of the club and not just whats happening on the pitch

tbh, none of those on the list are worth spending much on........probably DJ.

It is disappointing to hear we have obviously missed out on one of our 7, but surely BM expected one or two to get away. If we sign 6 of them who here really could have imagined it would go that well?

It's interesting that no one has noticed we missed out on someone too, just shows that the rumours could be way off. Not really that in the know are they.

The examples I give above are players who have moved this week to championship teams, I didn't want to embarrass myself by suggesting it might have been someone like Nathan Redmond.

Everyone knows we have access to very little money, but we were able to sign Luke Murphy for a million. There again we don't want other clubs - or players - to know how big our transfer pot is, or they'll inflate their demands. hence stories like this.
Are GBH that subtle? Maybe. Jury's out, but I like the idea.
