It's pretty much an impossible deal for everton

What part of purely hypothetical did you not understand?

"to a non title rival"

Everton will win the league this coming season

Ha ha, I used to think so at about this time every year until about '90.

I'd have him back, may hatred for him wore off years ago. I'd miss singing the Coleen the dirty slapper chant if he did sign. He's lost his sparkle playing for Utd,it must be all that money he earns.

NO

I'd take him back, who knows in a couple of years time he might actually do it too similar to what Bellamy did at Cardiff

In an instant.

Only if it made him happy

It will never happen,he'd certainly get his love of the game back playing for the club he supports, but money talks and despite earning more than he and his wife his kids and grand kids would ever need he will no doubt follow the money

Two things would have to happen before Rooney returns to us.

Scenario1:
He turns 34, end of his career, nobody wants him - Kenwright pleads for him to come 'Home' Rooney cries to come 'Home'

Scenario2:
Finally Bull$h|t Bill gets bought out and we become rich and can compete with the other rich boys - but then that begs the question? Would you want him when we could afford better? Nope

It would be fantastic for us to win the lottery (i.e. Man City etc.) and fighting for/winning Titles, cups etc. and for Rooney to cry to come and join us, and we just say...

a) we don't need ya
b) we don't want ya

Of course, I meant one of two things would have to happen
