think its more to do with Bales apparent love for Spurs than AVB.

he obviously has a good relationship with him, but as long as the club is going the right direction, cant see Bale wanting to go anywhere just yet, whoever was manager.

This again confirms that Bale will be here for the upcoming season. Tabloids won't stop linking him to RM and Manchester Utd.

If he's desperate to leave next year, he can go with my blessing and we'll get a huge sum for him, which can go toward the new stadium.

If he stays, brilliant!

Exciting times for us. The only way is up

AVB is clearly a step up from Harry. For a start he does not spend all his time talking tittle tattle to the rag press 24/7.

This is not the 1st time avb has been highly praised by spurs players

By the way I just finished reading the Pep Guardiola auto biography and Avb comes from that core of elite managers ie Jose Mourinho, Pep guardiola and AVB. That new breed of manager that looks at different logics of football tactics in a completely different way. Harry is a very good manager no doubt about it but a dinosaur in terms of era, avb is a step up.

Exactly Spur the moment.

I'm sick of seeing the press constantly link him with moves away just to fill the pages.

What's even more annoying is when man utd fans read this and automatically think that he is as good as theres like arrogant caaants

Don

Tis always good to reiterate and spread the joy to the land.

I think that rules out the prospect of Bale moving to QPR.

“We have a great relationship,” said Bale. “Last season we had a great campaign and obviously we came up short but we had a great working relationship on and off the field.

“We chatted quite a lot about tactics and stuff like that. He definitely got the best out of me last season and hopefully can again.”

Unbelievable, how do these guys get a job?
They publish an EXCLUSIVE about Bale WANTING to join Man Utd, with no quotes whatsoever. Absolutely ridiculious

We all know the hype Redknapp gets for being 'great' at man management but clearly AVB is a step above to get the best from our players.

==================

AVB got the best out of Bale whilst bringing the worst out of Parker, Ade, Walker and BAE.

You just know i cant resist a counter argument on this debate.

And i dont want to break into song but its not unusual .. for a player to speak highly of a current manager - its a pretty bog standard answer in an interview situation.

You always say that chicken but I never really heard players come out in such positivity towards redknapp like avb. It's there staring at you in the face mate... Bale saying avb is a big reason why his game has improved. Why would he say this for the sake of it?

Don,

Of course i always say it - because its true. How many LFC players are currently saying how good BR is, how many of them same players said KK was the bees knees? Come on fella, stop listening to what you simply want to hear.

Many players praised Redknapp but like any club, the players are hardly going to claim the previous manager was better are they?

When AVB goes, our players will praise the next manager...and so on.

You wouldnt tell your current girlfriend your ex was better in bed would you?

In my opinion, Bale had a great season on a personal level but I think it came at the expense of the team at times.

Players played out of position, and the balance of the side skewed to accommodate him in his free role. Indulged at times to the detriment of the collective.

It's no surprise Bale has praised him - he is the beneficiary. If Siggy came out and said his game had improved from playing LM with a right-footed LB, or Verts had improved by playing LB with no natural width in front of him, then I'd be impressed
