#nffc have this afternoon put a bid in to Celtic for former defender Kelvin Wilson. It's believed to be a bid of 1.5 million.
Would happily welcome him back. Though, thought he and Billy disliked each other?... Are they doing this to put pressure on Leicester and Wes maybe?
If they were doing that they would offer less. I don't even think Wilson is worth 200K
The guy didn't want to stay before, why welcome him back?
Because he's a good solid defender IMO... Wages aside also, if he is committed, then why not?
1.5M for a loser who wouldn't play for us. Threw his toys out of the pram when we were struggling?
Please take him back. Please.
Think he'd partner well with Hobbs. Better than spending £2m plus on Wes surely?!
Rated him, but think it's strange considering what happened last time. The kind of player we need though.
I don't think you can blame him for wanting to increase his wages and play a bit of easy football in the SPL. Maybe he fancies playing proper football again.
Henrik, we would take him back but then you'll have who? That shocking African CB?
Wilson is just what we need. A strong CB with pace
Is this the "Let's all pretend we'd prefer Wilson to Morgan" game?
Milf you can only dream about signing a CB
His loss to go north of the border was a blow to our defence. He is the type of player we need but surprised Billy is happy to take him back. Would be pleased to see him back at the CG.
Marco, I actually think I would have him ahead of Wes but ideally we'd have both
I'd like Wes back but not for twice what we sold him for. I'd prefer Wilson back. It's amusing that the Derby regular sees a conspiracy behind every single post on here. Very wrong in this case. Wes is a tank and a tryer but against pace he's woeful. Wilson is composed, better on the ball and faster but prone to the odd concentration lapse. I can see how that affected him more in the SPL than it would in the Championship where 90% of the games are strolls for Celtic.
Get both and play 3 at the back maybe......
