I think Gnabry will be more than just a C-OC player, especially if we can get rid of Gervinho.
Do not think we will get a DM. I believe Wenger feels Arteta and Ramsey alongside either Wilshere or Ox will be good enough this season (and of course Diaby will be back). And of course Arts and Aaron can play together. Add in the possibility of Rosicky and I think they will be our CM options.
Do not think we will sign a keeper. Fabianski was decent last season, and Martinez is still highly rated at the club as 3rd choice. Wenger will stick with what he has.
CB is obviously important. If Sagna is a viable option then a RB is needed. I would prefer a CB signed.
Striker, again we need to improve. All the signs point to Wenger looking hard for a viable option.
I dont expect any signings to come before we fly back from Japan
but if we dont get anyone in before the Emirates cup i will take that as a bad sign

Why CG. Do you watch Arsenal games?
^^ What a silly question to ask?
You think Wenger believes we need a DM? If so I don't think you do watch Arsenal.

I wouldn't care less what Wenger believes, I also can't stand apologist like you.
Apologist for who? I didn't apologise for anyone.
You don't care what the only person who matters thinks? Strange, but if you would rather listen to what the media or Stewart Robson or a Twitter ITK thinks we need you are in for a tough and sad month.
DJ, you have known my views well before Stewart Robson and I also don't follow twitter. This team needs a DM without a question, if we don't get a quality signing like Gustavo then a Mohamed Diame of this world can be a good option.
I have nothing against Diaby, but anybody who believes his body will suddenly mend must be a nutter.
We all know we need a DM. But we also know Wenger doesn't agree. No point wishing for a miracle.

Wenger has tunnel vision and stubbornness, which is reflected in what has gone on with Higuain.
This is without doubt an opportunity lost and is likely to cost us an inflated transfer fee when we could have probably bought him for £25 million in May.
This is unfortunately the weakness of Arsenal in all transfer dealings. They believe that they can buy everybody at bargain prices and land up too often acquiring rubbish.
Also Wenger needs to address weaknesses in squad and not just keep on buying pretty skilful footballers.
Noone wins trophies without solidity and that is why
we need a high class defensive midfielder.
The opportunity of Higuain is only lost if we also fail to get Suarez.
We are not going to buy Suarez. This is a red herring. If
Real Madrid sell Higuain you can be rest assured they will be after him and guess who he will choose.
If Arsenal dithered over £23 million in May they are certainly not going to pay £40 million + in July on high risk player.
If we spend that amount of money then there is not a
lot left for the other priority signings.
