Even Shaqiri of Switzerland & Bayern Munich wud be a dream despite the optimisim of his agent saying Inter is the best destination for him.
Do you think you'll spend a lot though? I don't think you've been great but you're still well in contention for third- but so are so many teams! The two Milan clubs will be busy I hope.
I doubt we will spend a lot - prob lots of loan deals for the time being.
Need to improve domestically - Success in Europa League is the only thing that has put on the gloss on this campaign so far. (albeit a small one)
Domestically we are shambles.
Henrik
Milan will get third now they've signed Cerci. Simeone is a caaant.
Yep. The next Italian team to win a European trophy will be Milan- and that's despite there being five Italian teams in the Europa League.
And that won't be for another five years at least given they are in such a state.
Yep, the Spanish waiter will finish outside the Champions League spots and go back to the Scousers.
That'd be hilarious.
In all seriousness, though, I do think Napoli will take third spot.
Serie A need both Milan clubs back in Europe, though, be that Europa and or CL.
I think Inter getting back into the CL gives better short-midterm prospects of the two clubs as Milan are just ran by clowns, despite usually doing well in the CL.
They seriously need to start doing better in the Europa League- there's actually a few Italian teams who you think are about that level, and it gets you in the Champions League.
Of course after Villarreal win the Europa League.

Rafa squandered a lot of the funds from it.
They do, but they also need to start doing well in the CL also.
Much is made about the German league but it's the likes of Bayern, Shalke and Dortmund recently that are propping up their coefficient by regularly doing well in the tournament (ok Shalke get smashed all the time but they regularly get to the ko stages which gets a lot of points).
And the same can be said for the prem, who don't do that well in the EL.
Some good Italian sides in the EL this season. Would be good to see one of them win it.
Great season for Villarreal, though. Not seen much of them, to be fair, but I'm sure they'll be a threat. What do you make of Vietto?
Vietto is a terrific player, the Scousers are interested and sure they're a bigger club, but really he'd be better staying with us- his contract is very lengthy anyway. Last season was fantastic, but we never really had a prolific striker throughout the campaign- so we've improved a lot in that regard. I think the Europa League is something we should be aiming for- as Spanish sides are traditionally great in this competition and excluding the relegation etc we've generally been a well performing club in Europe.
Yeah and you are more likely to be in the CL than they are.
Would be amazing if Villarreal could win a European trophy. You are well placed to get back in the CL in the league as well.
Difficult one to call that. Think Sevilla have the edge.
Vlaar to Napoli apparently.
But he's Dutch and so we are meant to sign him.
