With Shola in charge you shouldn't lose another Tyne-Wear derby
He's obviously coming back as assistant manager. I hope so anyway.
He's Sissoko's replacement.
Just realised that Lazio and Napoli's next two games are against Roma and Juve, respectively, and then each other.
Inter could potentially cut that lead down quite a bit if they beat Genoa and Empoli.
The top three race in Italy is so tight at the moment.

It's crazy, there are so many difficult games in Serie A, that every other week you're playing a big team. Sure, the standard compared to other leagues isn't great- but I'd say it's the league with the most big clubs.

Absolutely, there's probably 10 teams in Serie A that are properly massive clubs

I know what you mean, but it's not really like there are loads of massive clubs.
There's just been so much money invested into different teams, at one point or another, that many have a period where you can point to a bit of success, without it really being sustained, like Parma in the 90's and Napoli in the 80's.
So there's a bit of glamour about the games but they aren't really big clubs.
Inter, Milan and Juve are the only truly big clubs in Italy. The rest just scrap for the right to call themselves fourth, but still way off the big three.
If Ameobi becomes Newcastle manager they'd have gone from Pardiola to Guardishola.
Make it happen, Ashley.
Right, which Perrin are you lot on about? The CB from St Etienne? When someone said the next Buffon (I assume by next Buffon they mean overrated GK) I was like, double yew tee eff.
Mattia Perin, obviously. The 29 year old cb from France is hardly going to be the heir to Buffon.
I think there should be more clarification on this thread. 1 match ban for anyone who doesnt give the full name, club, position & nationality of the player; from now on.
Signed Edinspur, Tottenham, Substitute, Danish.
No you were just being thick.
Tbf, I picked up pretty early on who you meant. My comment about him being good on Fifa was based on that StEtienne guy who I thought Arsenal were linked with.
Ah ok.
Henrik, I really want him to become Newcastle manager.
Boumsong and Bramble return.
Still maintain what I said about clarity though. Who do you want to become Newcastle manager?
Shola Ameobi, some team, Legend striker, Nigerian?
I want Guardishola to be Newcastle manager.
Yeah Boumsong and Bramble as defensive coaches.
It's funny, Bramble used to be such a joke of a player back in the day but when you look at the CB's now they make as many mistakes as he did.
Bramsong or Boumble? Can't decide which sounds better.
