You were missing some big players in fairness.

tbh, i think missing Dybala and Mandzukic(from the start) helped Max in a way, the 4-3-3 with Alex Sandro wide left worked brilliantly for 70 minutes, we lost a bit of impetus when he took Morata off, Mandzukic clearly wasnt fully fit, the player we did miss was Marchisio, no disrespect to Hernanes but he's not in the same league as Claudio in that deep lying midfield role

and lets be honest with the chances we had, we should have been 4/5-0 up anyway, Morata also had a goal disallowed which should have stood, but at the end of the day we're out and Bayern are through, the positives are that we showed over 180 minutes that we're every bit as good as one of the 2 best teams on the planet.

The real balls up was the Sevilla defeat which meant we finished 2nd in the group, that tie last night would have been worthy of a semi final or final, you'll have to watch a lot of CL ties to see a better 180 minutes than us and Bayern produced

it really was a grate game, Morata going off was the mistake, we were left with no outlet, Mandzukic clearly wasnt fully fit, should have bought Zaza on if Alvaro was tired

Even though he was tired I still think he should have stayed on a bit longer.

Injuries didn't help, as the subs showed. They had more quality to bring off the bench.

Feel sorry for Paddy. He was excellent for most of the game but ended up making the mistakes that cost Juve the game.

Don't beat yourself up over Sevilla, btw. They've won every single home game this season except Atleti back in August, and City. They have a knack for grinding out a result at the Pizjuan even when they don't play well. They're currently on something like 18 wins in a row at home.

Morata's run for Cuadrado's goal was impressive, btw. Never seen him powering forward that way. You're sending us back a greatly improved player. Grazie.
