Oh that's just cruel blow the whistle referee
BVB 6-1 VBFS - Referee poor decision, Lew hat-trick, PEA and Sokratis with goals and obviously Reus.
This is comical.
Stuttgart aren't even trying to keep the scoreline respectable.
How can you be so open against a team like this?
Biased commentator not treating Bayer's title challenge with respect
I'm not sure Owen Hargreaves is aware of Leverkusen's position and points tally in the table.
Neymar sets Sanchez up for a tap in by nutmegging 2 defenders
Alright guys LRF here. New account, new times. It for some reason , clogged up my PC because of my email address and I changed to keep up to date with it. So this is LRF .
This has certainly been quiet though...
Only just catching the highlights of last weekend. Great performance from Son obviously but two more good goals for Lasogga as well. Olic's goal against Dortmund was brilliant. Reus could've scored two free kicks but had to settle for one. Salihovic is decent at free kicks too. Timo Werner is younger than me and he's scoring a great double. Unlucky Nuernberg wasting chances and having a good goal not given (goal line technology!). Boateng brothers both scoring. Nice.
Want Dortmund to end Bayern's unbeaten run next week.
Bundesliga looking top notch once more this season. Wanting a more serious challenge from some teams this season. Leverkusen being one of them, Dortmund another.
Looking for Frankfurt to get Top 4 again, they are good enough to get it.
They both should. What stops them from doing so? You'll get a few nippy results through the season but so does everyone. The only thing is, Bayern have less than them 2.
Frankfurt have been awful. They'd be lucky to get mid table.
Freiburg and Frankfurt both poor compared to last season but at least Freiburg lost a few decent players. Did Frankfurt?
Not especially, no. It's just second season syndrome.
Just like Moechengladbach. They've come back fighting this season though.
I'm wondering when Wolfsburg are going to grace the Top 4 with their presence. Mainz have a chance?
I think it's about time Wolfsburg are up there again. They've got a good squad. Not guaranteed to get top 4 but they should definitely get a Europa League place. Ideally Schalke will be ahead of them. Obvs. I think the current top 6 are the best 6 but I don't know which order they'll finish in.
They have a top starting 11 and good players to do it once again, but can they sustain the pressure and have the consistency? Not really. Moechengladbach, Frankfurt etc proved you don;t need the best squad in the division to get Top 4, just consistency, which they both had in the seasons they finished there. But surely with one of the Top 5/6 starting teams + consistency, you can be pushing for 2nd/3rd as well as. You've obviously got your current Top 3 but Schalke look really the only teams looking to get Top 4. Others will eventually wither away.
Sure, they have some top players like Naldo, Diego, Gustavo etc but they just lack any sort of team ego. They don't have the chemistry as a team to be able to be good enough to get Top 4, that's what they need to regain.
------------------------------Benaglio-----------------------------
------Trasch------------Naldo------Klose-------Rodriguez----
---------------------Medojevic----Gustavo----------------------
------Caliguri----------------Diego-----------------Perisic------
--------------------------------Olic--------------------------------
For me, personally, that's there strongest side they can put out. Maybe not on current form, stats etc but for that is. But they've got players like Dost, Arnold, Vieirinha etc that can filly in and do a good job for them. All they need now is another top class CM to support Gustavo and they've got a consistent, CL team there. They're already pushing for it in the 5th place but Nurnberg (A) next and they don't have a great record against them.
If you lose to Braunschweig you can lose to anyone They do lack consistency but so do Schalke and basically everyone below them.
That's true. The Top 3 deserve to be their because I do feel they are all at least 1 step above, financially and quality wise. That 4th spot is for the team that earns the right to be there and they have consistency and quality to win that spot over.
I think a fit Huntelaar and Papadopoulos would really make a difference for Schalke. Szalai isn't doing badly but Huntelaar's that bit better in front of goal and no combination of keepers, defenders and midfielders seems to stop Schalke conceding goals.
Nothing is really working for Schalke at the back currently. I don't know why, but I see Matip as your best CB currently. Even if not played there all the time!
Need a much better Keeper.
