I don't care that they beat us, Sunderland are crap. Would be a joke if he decided to go there.
Hopefully it's just Sunderland trying to punch above their weight.
Considering all the garbage midfields in the premier league if Sunderland are the team with the most interest it's a joke

Hopefully their interest only goes as far as Southampton's did.

I don't get why we aren't interested. Our transfer policy has been so weird.
People go on about wanting players like Gundogan et al., but I don't think people realise how good Banega is.
I know I go on about him all the time but I genuinely believe if he was at a better team he'd be as highly rated as the likes of Modric and Gundogan.
Although we aren't much better than Valencia, to be fair.

There's no question marks over his ability, it's just consistency which is his biggest issue really but perhaps this will come with a fresh start somewhere?
Yeah that's the thing. I guess the difficulty is knowing whether it's the player or the team he plays in.
I didn't think Modric was the most consistent of players at Spurs and would disappear in big games, but a lot of that could be down to the fact Spurs as a team did that.
Although I will say that Modric still has a habit of disappearing in big games even at Madrid. The second leg against Dortmund is the only big game where he's really impressed me for Madrid.
I'd say Banega is a bit more Kaka like in that he seems to thrive against the better opposition.
Barcelona of all teams have had trouble keeping Banega quiet on more than one occasion in recent years.
Yeah and Madrid. Boom, 1-0.
Brilliant goal.
Lovely run and cut back from Muller.
TRS, the football live thread seems to be where people are watching the games.

More Bayern-Gladbach penalty controversy
Couldn't even get it on target the caant
Andrei you should award Monchengladbach a consolation goal for their spirit
Gives me hope that we (Arsenal) can get something against Bayern. Although they demolished Barca last season and we're only 2-0 up against Coventry.
They're missing a few players to be fair
Didn't realise they were playing again midweek probably explains the weakened team
Walcott's right foot > Robben's right foot
