Don't think he'll leave, he's only just back in training from injury. Even if he does, Hoewedes, Matip and Santana are good. Kolasinac can play there and maybe Ayhan will get a few games.

Papadopoulos is a quality CB and if Liverpool were to sign him, you'd be in straight away with a solid looking defence.

True LRF, would take crazy wages for the player to consider that (think of City when they started their shopping spree) and even then not all players would want it for footballing reasons.

Liverpool's current transfers (Aspas, Toure on a free) don't indicate they are going to spend massively.

While they might free some budget if they sell Skrtel to Napoli, I'm not sure whether it would be enough to lure the Schalke man. What are his current wages?

I think he'll be on more than 9k a week. A starting CB at Schalke who have CL Football? Should be around 30k for me really.

Liverpool are spending crazy money on Diego Costa which shouldn't be a priority for them as they are already strong out wide with plenty of options.

The money could have been used elsewhere. Like the priority of signing a strong CB first because Diego Costa's transfer and wages won't be cheap.

I don't think that matchincome.com is a reliable source really. No website that 'predicts' a players wages is really. Why would the club publically want to tell a Sporting website what their players wages are?
