It was a good work out...
It was a craap workout. Nothing today showed that 90 per cent of the players on show today in a Spurs shirt are very, very average.
Whenever Spurs field understrength teams they are normally rubbish. First XI fine, but second XI very poor.
I'm not worried we had a number of first team players missing
It was obvious Sunderland took it serious
We are doomed though, I agree with all the posters.
Only Lloris, Kaboul/Verts, Bale, Dembele, Sandro and Paulinho to play. Virtually nothing
"First XI fine, but second XI very poor."
Therein lies the problem.
The Verty incident shows that a <standard> is never far away.

Bring back King, Modric, VDV and Berbatov.
"display a few for sales"
How do you think that went today ??
Did Carroll come on for a decent amount of time? How did he do?
Didn't look like the kind of pitch that'd suit him to be fair.
A quagmire pitch, a friendly and a host of first choice players missing. Lets PANIC
Carroll got 10 mins, didn't do much either

FFS!!!
It's only a work-out to boost fittness levels,try a few ideas,display a few for sales.
Stop behaving like a bunch of goonetts going into meltdown.
But it is not just a work out is it, we had two of those against Swindon and Colchester and didn`t win either of those. The whole team looked completely disjointed today, as it always does when anything other than the first XI takes to the pitch. Something seriously wrong that our reserves and squad players never seem to be able to raise above the average whether it be friendlies, workouts, carling cup or europa league games.
"A quagmire pitch"
The game was shortened so that Scottys' 360s didn't cause pitch subsidence.
Don`t blame the conditions. Sunderland scored 3 and could have had half a dozen. Spurs reserves were just craaap from start to finish.

I know it`s only a friendly, but seriously did you see anything from the 15 or 16 players on show that made you feel that anything other than perhaps 2 or 3 are really first XI players, ready for the start of the season. I didn`t.
Spurs + brilliant pre season form = standard poor start to season.
So lets not get too worked up about poor pre season results.
