Derbyshire is not good enough to lead the line mate. He hasn't scored more than 10 goals in a season since he was 17! I've got a sneaky feeling Charlie Austin will sign.

I always thought he looked pretty decent before he came to us. I think he'll be involved this season, even if somebody else comes in. Maybe not first choice, but if he plays the way he's been playing the friendlies then we should give him a chance.

I agree . It's defiantly a squad game. Like you said he defiantly looks more like the part this preseason. At 27 he's an experienced lad as well

I thought he was a good player at Blackburn and he always did well for England U21s. Plus he was a success in Greece. But he's been so poor for us in two seasons. If Billy can get best out of him then why not keep hold as one of 4 strikers. Still think we need someone else unless Miller is going to be included.

I also think Miller could still come good, but sadly he seems to spend his life in bandages. We do need another striker, although, with Hendo, Dex, Cox, and Derbys, we've got two big/small combinations.

We don't have a poacher like Sharp which is the one thing we're msising. I think Cox is a good player but he's never going to hit 20 goals

i'm with caniggia on derbsyhire was decent with blackburn i'd like to keep him as a squad player you never know he might just come good getting some game time
