Last week arsenal fans were saying he would never sign for utd while the utd fans were confident

Now cynicism has kicked in on both sides and the gooners are living in fear of it while the manc are cynical

funny old game

I think we have to look at all the evidence and deduce a likely scenario. It's the only way to gain a proper insight into the possibility of any given transfer.

Argument 1: United have have had 2 bids turned down. Thus, Utd must have some reason to believe that it is possible. Barca may be just rejecting the bids because they have not met the valuation they value Fabregas at. However, this argument is a very hypothetical argument conjured up from linking the variables.

However, I am a skeptic and prefer to look at what we do know.

-Barca have turned down 2 bids stating that he is not for sale. Some may argue this term is branded around a lot in football. However, we must look at it at face value.

-Fabregas has stated he is happy and does not want to leave. This has been furthered with statements from his team mates. Thus, it is likely and probably most accurate to believe he is staying. However, I do understand this is not an exact science. But, one must accept the dots point to fabregas staying.

Wish I could read, then I I would know what you are all talking about.

The only reason that Barca would sell is financial, and even then, I don't see why Fabregas would come here. I'd love him to, but I really can't understand why you would move from your childhood team when they're one of the best teams in the world and you're already getting game time and guaranteed more in the next few years.

I would suspect we won't come back with a third bid, but if we do, then it would have to mean that the move was possible.

This is a favourite of the Daily Mail... whenever they dont have sources but want to run a story these 'friends' always pop up out of nowhere. I dont think ive ever seen a DM transfer story actually materialise when the 'friends' have told the DM thay the player told then he wants to leave.

OOF,

I think from precedents when a player isn't for sale it just means that the buyer hasnt met the valuation yet. It' the fundamental negotiation skill used to enhance the sellers bartering position.

However, I am a skeptic

----------------------------

You apply scepticism selectively and only when the bits of evidence don't meet your preconceptions. No real sceptic comes out with the kind of stark pronouncements that you do, OOF.

I am a very close friend of Cesc, and I can confirm this is true. He told me.
