Webbo, I hate the fact that Davies bought in another keeper because I truly believe we didn't need one. Darlow proved he's already good enough, and this Kuwaiti guy is pretty good too (he's probably a bit miffed as well, being bumped down to 3rd choice).

To be honest...i'm a bit miffed the kuwati keeper hasn't been given a chance myself. Anyone that can keep a clean sheet against a decent Real Madrid team, has got to be worth a bit of game time.

I see everyone on twitter is wetting themselves about Derbyshire's 4 goals in pre-season. McGoldrick loved pre-season, but couldn't score in a meaningful game. We still need a new centre forward.

I 'm pretty sure Jara is injured, which is why he hasn't been involved in pre-season games. His knee or ankle I think...

He picked up a fracture at the end of the season.

I think there's a bit too much sentimentality around Darlow. He did a good job, but it would've been dangerous to go into such a big season with only him and Rashidi. Both still unproven.

Fair point, I'm guilty of that, but I also think he's ready for a full season.

If we get promoted, we'll probably go out and buy another keeper, so he'll be even more marginalised, and his chance will have gone, so this could have been a massive season for Karl.

Wow, I know it is onl;y pre-season but the guy is obviously trying to take his chance.

Real test starts next Saturday though, but have be impressed with the commitment and effort he has put in so will certainly give him another chance!

Thought Darlow would have been NO.1 but typical Billy mixes it up again so not sure who it will be now starting next Saturday.

Would still expect Darlow and will probs see De Vries on Tuesday in the capital one cup.

Really looking forward to this season though, hopefully we can finally do it!
