Didn't he miss most of last season and only had 1 or 2 caps previously?
At least he won't come back injured.
Not coming back injured was my first thought as well. Still though, Wallace is easily the best young Scots left back right now and isn't the point of friendlies to give these guys a game.
I am not Levein's biggest fan, so I can't argue.
Maybe with less defenders he might be tempted to go 4-4-2
Levein hasn't a clue, Scotland won't do much with him in charge... He'll always be a wee diddy team manager.
Willie, I don't think we have ever or will in the future have exactly the same opinion.
I think HE thinks he is a brilliant coach.
Unfortunately, I agree.
I will still support him and the rest of the boys, and just "hope" but he's not a patch on McLeish or Smith, or plenty of other candidates...
I don't fancy our chances of qualifying for any finals with him at the helm, but we can only support and hope he can pull off the victories we need...
Probably has something to do with him not having played much football in the last few months?
If he was 100% sharp, then the left back slot should be his.
He is also a very attacking player, he isnt the greatest defensively. We all know how much Levein likes defending.
He makes Walter Smith look like the Brazil 1970 coach.
