Never heard of Warrior, looked it up, looks a little bit gay from the cover. Anyway, I thought you meant "The Warriors" from 1979, which is an effing classic. See it. Tonight.

======================================

Seen it HC - great film

----------------------------------------------------------------

If you think Warrior was about the fight scenes, you completely missed the point of the movie and for that, I grieve for you

=======================================

Wump - the fight scenes were the only decent thing about it; the sob story is a tired formula and as for that joke of an ending... !SPOILERS!

............that has Tom Hardy blitz through his opponents like they're not even there, then lose to his crappy underdog bro - it was bad enough HE beat a Russian Kurt Angle - then have all that 'I love you' crap AND no idea if he shared the prize money or whatever...

NO! JUST NO... it's a bad film!!

Story of Ricky is a great watch but only if you can get your hands on the subtitled version where the interpreter has a very fragile grasp of English at best.

'When you were born, we called you Rick, but when we saw how strong you were we called you Ricky'.

Was in tears at that line first time I saw it.

One of the funniest is the perception of Titanic. First, there was overwhelming, universal acclaim. Then, there was a massive backlash. Then there was a backlash against the backlash. I still think it was a great movie, if slightly soppy and cheesy.

It's absolute unintentional genius ha ha

Another Overrated film I'd say is The Inbetweeners movie.
I liked it when I went to see it in cinema, and laughed a lot. But when I saw it again on DVD I realised it wasn't that funny. Seems like a less funny or memorable version of Kevin and Perry Go Large.
It's an OK film. But people act as if its greatest comedy they've seen. The series is better, but people putting it up there with the comedy greats, is a bit silly.

I agree it was average. I did have high expectations of it after watching the series and there were some funny moments in the film, but it typically tried to have some serious side to it that didn't work and felt like a filler. Shame really.

a few that i just don't get

Avatar-special effects aside it was a pretty poor film in all honesty

Gosford Park-looks stunning and has a cast to die for, but a bit of a damp squib, kind of limp and predictable by the end

the Deer Hunter-waaaaaaaaaaaaay too long

Simon was too nice to Carly in that film for my liking... What's with this better person bollox... If she's a then call her a

Also that other guy deserved more of a comeuppance than just getting pop on his nose

That large bird sparking him out would have been better

The Princess Bride - underrated by people who look at the title and assume it's rubbish.

Sexy beast was a great film. Good performances by ray winston and Ben Kingsley. Not sure if its underrated but I don't know many people who have seen it.

2 old films which are great- Dr strangelove. Very funny and caught the atmosphere at the time brilliantly.
One flew over the cuckoos nest- just an all round brilliant film.
They aren't underrated, but people around my age often refuse to watch them purely because they're old. Feel like punching people when they say that. Anythings c.rap because its old attitude. Same with music. But I urge any youngster to watch those films! Or anyone for that matter.
