Caulker doesn't take up a PL squad place (English, U23) .
Doesn't do our homegrown a lot of good. Especially if Parker and THudd leave too.
Caulker has potential but when called upon hasnt been great. Not too bothered.
Caulker would have been a good young, English back up
If Thudd leaves I need a new name
How about Dickon, THudd?
Caulker simply isn't good enough. It's a real shame. He makes too many mistakes and can't be considered a starter at Spurs.
We'll buy a 23yo Romanian international for 6.9m and sell Caulker for more than 8.5.
That's good business ???
We sell a 21-year old Home grown England International for £1.6m more than we pay for some random Romanian who's 2 years older. I don't see this as good business. But I don't know anything about the Romanian.

Would've made more sense to loan him out. I read somewhere we would have a buy back clause put in.
What a ridiculous transfer. The lad is 21 years old, in 3 or 4 years time we'll be kicking ourselves.
Vlad looks top draw tbf. City, Chelsea and Roma wanted to sign him.
First team regular for Romania and looks brilliant going forward. Can also play DM too
Once our kids have done a loan spell at a PL club, "use them or lose them" .

For now, we'll sell Caulker and get a like-for-like replacement who is able to play RB as well as DM plus at least 1.6m.
Yes, financially speaking, that's a good deal
And lose one free PL squad slot in the bargain.
Its true I was with him at the craps table...
