He wants to take his money from the Spurs cash dispenser
We sell a 21-year old Home grown England International for £1.6m more than we pay for some random Romanian who's 2 years older. I don't see this as good business. But I don't know anything about the Romanian.

Vlad ChiricheČ™ is a much better player than Caulker & has a much better attitude too!
As previously mentioned Caulker has annoyed AVB & the Club on a few occasions by partying too much & also being late for training.
Would be very disappointed if this happens. Caulker will be a top player in a few years and is a good squad player now.
He's also probably the best youth product we've had since Ledley.
Bale me out................................Caulker has to change his attitude first. There are lots of footballers who have not fulfilled their potential because their attitude & behaviour let them down.
It's not happing for me, why would we sell a player with no replacement
Silly story
Whilst young players should improve with age, i just dont see how he is going to improve his turning speed ability. He's just too sluggish for the standard of striker we face in the Prem.
Its a shame because he's great in the air and poses a threat on offensive set-pieces but he just isn't upto the standard we need. £8.5m would be great business.
I'd snap their hand off with that deal...
We don't know his attitude, we're not at the ground every day,
Just hearsay

He did nothing last season that tells me that he'll make it at a decent side. Too many mistakes, doesn't read the game very well and isn't very quick. It's a shame, I had high hopes and wanted him to succeed, but our defensive frailties our exposed far too often.

I heard caulker had the third worst percentage of headers won for CBs in the league, weird as he was the CB with the most headers per game for us, must have been targeted

Caulker was a sprinter originally and turned to football as a teenager. So, imo he will be a late developer in learning the game.
But, he was a premier league regular at 19 and has a season under his belt at spurs.
Re his attitude. Every loan he's been on he's succeeded and I think he went back to Yeovil just to watch them once he left. Seems like a good kid to me.
The man is 21 guys. How many top centre backs are 21?
Imo, it will be a big mistake if we let him go.

Caulker is clearly 4th choice atm, however I do think it'll be a mistake letting him go so early. That could be forgotten if this Romanian lad is any good tho
