#ManUtd United have not given up hope of signing Cesc Fabregas and are considering making a third bid for the #FCB Barcelona midfielder
I was slightly hopeful about this at first, but it just seems stupid now. How many times do we need to be told no?
I am sure the club will only make a third bid if there is something in it. I cannot believe they would waste time on this.
I think we should offer £200 million because like, that's how we do business.
C'mon Robb don't be stupid
£200 million plus add ons should do it
And just for the record add ons = Bebe
£45m.

Bayern with Goetze
Barca with Neymar
Real with any superstar
Bayern with Martinez.
Take the Bayern and Goetze scenario, they knew he wanted to come, if that was us we would have started at £15m and inched our way up. Bayern just pay the release fee. As they know getting him in early is worth more than money.
Gotze and Martinez had release clauses but Fabregas doesn't.

Not sure I would want United to follow Barca and Reals way of transfer dealing.
Considering both of their fairly massive revenues, they have both found themselves being bailed out of debt in recent history.
Bayern is not really an example of smash and grab. they are responsibly ran, by all accounts.
Chelesea and City, despite being able, haven't really gone smash and grab either (Torres apart, and there is a warning for you).

I hear what you're saying buy Bayern are quite similar to us in many ways.
But they seem to have developed this killer instinct and get whoever they want and have started to pay top dollar in doing so.
SLM
We are still more than capable of paying top dollar for who we want.

We want............................actually WE NEED Fabregas.
Not because he's a continental name.
But he's world class, and he's a CM who has played in the PL and would improve us immesurably.
How foolish are we going to look if they knock back a third offer, which they are likely to do?
Barca don't need to sell him. They don't really want to sell him.The player doesn't really want to leave. And they would struggle getting in somebody as good to replace him if he did leave.
Basically only silly money is going to land us Fabregas. An offer that even Barca can't refuse. Which is why I don't think it's going to happen.
SLM
Don't get me wrong, I would love to see him in a United shirt.

I don't see how we will look foolish.
Maybe you can explain.
As much as people want Ronaldo back a CM is the priority and getting the right one could be key to how succesful Moyes is over the next few seasons.
I therefore believe IF Fabregas wants the move then this is the transfer that United should flex the financial muscle Vidicischin speaks of.
