This is what i suspect is the reason he's going. The lure of Real Madrid and finally playing a massive club is too much for him to turn down and stay another year with Spurs. I see him improving but nothing like the fee that is being paid for him, should suggest. Maybe everyone in Spain will be overawed with his direct style of play, power and speed.
