He is 28 and has not yet made 100 appearances in his career - He is happy to be No 2 or No 3. May take some time to get the splinters out of his arrse
Well he's got 3 days, what more does he want. Geez
enjoy lads, will give you a few laughs
Unfortunately we can't afford to be choosy, it's either him or a school kid who's not even played Sunday league football. Anyway, along with the other 2 no-hopers we've signed we might be able to put 11 players out for Saturdays thrashing. RIP RTID
BBM, for you thats very positive then. Steady on
Just read on sky sports (not sure if this is a good source or not) that the deal is not dead and in fact there could be more then one deal on the table.
One thing for certain,he has got to be better than Gary Woods
Consortium fronted by Kevin Phelan - see http://www.independent.ie/irish-news/if-that-comes-out-im-ruined-lowry-29090809.html - Lowry was raided by Revenue last week- Lowry was involved in corrupt payments through a Doncaster Rovers link in the Belle Vue days

This has disaster written all over it !! There like leaches coming to suck the club dry, we have done so well over the last 7 years or so, with what I'm reading about this so called take over, there is not one person I would lend a tenner too !! Wish we had not got involved with all this now and carried on plugging away gradually building a support base that will sustain championship football !! Instead I now feel we are a target to milk dry! And all this has changed because we now own the ground !! Let the blood suckers commence! Was this a plan in the first place by some of the board ? I feel sick right now, sorry
Then why all the hype and deliverance on this deal in the first place....Ticket Sales??????euphoria I wonder. PR Excercise, yesterday on Twitter DRFC had an increase in 600% visits, the most popular of the day
Meath,
There are other articles out there saying the same things about this group and thats why I have been referring to O'Brien as a tyrant and that I am happy it has not gone through.
What keeps cropping up is acquiring parcels of land for development. Is there any land around the Keepmoat that they are after?
Is that why Bramall, who would know from his experience, blocked them getting it?
Could this be an attempt to launder money to pay off a certain politician for services rendered in a telephone licence deal?
The sad thing about all this is that JR is leading this consortium and Bramall is 100% against it, its a split.
ITS ONE HELL OF A MESS
Yes Alex, a right pickle but perhaps Bramhall is after the land too, anyway I think we can leave it to the owners to fall out over, if it is a power struggle as I believe, I certainly would be interested in motive as JR was behind the party from Ireland who brought him into DRFC in the first place, true The Moriarty Tribunal does not favour the backers, but then again certain other clubs have money from abroad all over them....
Anyway as normal, a shambles that dragged on for about 6 weeks and kept the tills rolling at the Keepmoat soon to be renamed "BallyCastle" or maybe now it isn't.
Leave it to the remnants on the field because I think now that Wellens is gone too. Hey ho...as they say "There is more to life than football"
Bally that was a point I was trying to make Bramall knows exactly the consortium's objectives.
The problem with all this is that we don't know the full facts so we don't know the bad guys, or rather, the better of the bad guys.
Norm is hoping to get a new knee in October and I think he was hoping to play in goal. I didn't like telling him Woods was a far better keeper than him.
Things are improving at home, more good days than bad, if you know what I mean,
The certain politician is being hung out to dry - he is no longer useful to them. If it was JP Mcmanus interested in Rovers I would be delighted as he is a well known patron of sport although it is predominantly racing and Hurling
Alex.
Norm could still get to his feet quicker than Woods
We must be on a winner this season, the Mag 4-4-2, is predicting we will go down.
I think they underestimate the force of
"The Pub team."

Every year that we are in the Championship we will be amongst the favourites for relegation.
Just a fact of life for a small club like DRFC.
Wouldn't it be good if we could stay up for a while like last time.
Roll on Saturday.
