Alternative venue for religious conventions. Apparently the football authorities will authorised annual close season use, as long as delegates, respect the ground and concourses.

Nuclear test site.

Ah, the only problem with that dumdrizzle, would be the diameter of the blast zone and subsequent fallout. As Highbury, and The Emirates, are in closest proximity. I would leave that idea on the back burner (if u pardon my pun).

Skeletons, yes..... Silverware...No....They'll keep though

actually, dumdrizzle is correct...the lane is such a blackhole, nothing escapes, so it can be nuked and all radioactive contamination will just be sucked up into it..

The land is fairly arable, consisting of little clay or chalk. Giving this area, and indeed the surrounding land a good farming profile, to grow.potatoes.

LETS TALK ABOUT RADIATION!

posted on 8/8/11

Dave, I was thinking more along the line of a 1 Kiloton, which would only render light damage at that distance.
Radiation is another matter, but it's worth the risk!

LETS TALK ABOUT RADIATION!
------------------------------
Yes, three main types of course. Alpha, Beta and Gamma.
Alpha and Beta are in the main harmless. It's Gamma radiation, that's a particularly nasty fellow, with a tendency to.destitute years on due to various half lives.

rhackw....... How right you are. The blackhole theory,of course! Why didn't I think of that?

Dave, care to tackle the blackhole theory?

Does that make me crazy!!!?

Possibly!

posted on 8/8/11

Dumdrizzle. A kiloton might do it. We would have to surround the ground with lead lined concrete, and use an element with a short half life, to avoid collateral damage.

posted on 8/8/11

By a short half life, are you referring to the Spurs lineup? Because that's expendable, you know. Just saying
