We have had to spend within our means and have now been unshackled, where as they are currently in our position last season. They have sold one of the best players in the world and have arguably strengthened their team but unless they can continue to sell their best players for ridiculous money there is no chance they can reign above us. We essentially are going to spend 50-70m net every transfer window from now on and our current youngsters are miles ahead of theirs.

Once Bail has gone they will have a LOT of money to spend, but still wont finish above us. Even if we have got Gazidis doing our transfers.

No matter how bad we are, Spurs will always be worse. It's just a fact, not opinion.

WOW that's the biggest load of carp I've ever read.
Yes we'll finish above Spurs but the rest of your post is deluded dross

Look at this way Spurs will have around the same amount of money to spend this window as us and they are going to sell their best player.

So we were better anyway and they have weakened themselves and only have the same amount of money to spend as us. Therefore the only way for them to finish above us is for Wenger to makes some truly shocking signings and AVB to makes some of the greatest signings ever.

Typical Spurs trying to buy success like City

Us, Arsenal and United are doing things the right way with relatively low transfer expenditures compared to the fat cats trying to get round ffp.

We could have a squad full of Hungarian 2nd division players and we'd still finish above the potatoes

Kam we have to be honest with ourselves mate. We just about scraped 4th on the last day. They have gone and spent over £40 mill already, whatever happens with Bale they will have significant amount of money to spend if he does go. I believe in the quality of some of our youngsters but they need quality mixed with them and we are playing a dangerous game by waiting to bring that quality in. I'm not panicking yet but I am wondering, think 6th at best without top quality. What do you reckon?.
