If they do sign extensions it'll be a massive bonus considering we are in league one.
Danny Batth signed from Colchester ? I thought he was one of our academy.
Great news - still to sign though.
Thought that Batth was from Brierley Hill !
Batth is from Brierley Hill and came through the academy. He spent a short time at Colchester on loan
He came up through our academy and went to Colchester on loan.
Not all the tripe we read comes from the E & S.
I'm sure everyone on the Wycombe Wanderers board will be really excited by this news
Just in case any of you we're still wondering...
- he is from Brierley Hill
- he was at loan at Colchester
- he came through our academy
Hope that clears it up for anyone still confused
He's from Brierley Hill.
Which is why he's Highly Brill.
And you're from Bute. I wish you were mute.
And you're a twa t
how about that
Don't think that they will sign straight away. See how the season pans-out and if we are serious promotion candidates, then maybe sign. It also gives them time to see if any other clubs come in for them and what's on offer.
And I'm still laughing...

Griff has said recently that he wants a new contract at Wolves.
Batth is known to be annoyed about being dropped last season .
Both are likely to sign as it means a lot more wages, and any halflway decent agent will see there are effective get-out clauses
Not sure about the more wages comment Wolfgang. Possibly so for Batth but wasn't Griffiths signed when we were in the Prem?
In any case, if both delay signing new contracts at Wolves and have half-decent seasons; it's not beyond the realms of possibility that Champo or even lower-Prem sides could come in for them and offer them a lot more money than Div 1 Wolves.
Additionally, as free-agents, they would be able to negotiate hefty signing-on bonuses at new clubs.
If it were me; I'd delay the signing for at least a couple of months.
Whether they sign contracts or not is not really important to them personally.......they will get a nice cut of any deal taking them to their next club anyway.
