Anelka is plenty good enough for mid table in the prem, yes they were on a bad run but you have to admit they have gone about things the right way. In general baggies fans are a far better bunch than the blues or the vile, they gave us bully after all!

The 'did' go about things the right way and in the process got lucky with Lukaku (who effectively saved them from relegation).

Now they are blowing £70k a week on a 34 year old trouble maker and losing the starlets from their very expensive academy to fish further up the pike.

To be fair, there is nothing they can do about the latter because they are not in the Premiership to win anything but are there to both make the numbers up and be a breeding pond for decent sized clubs.
