maybe he wanted to retire soon and have one last pay day and easier life in his home country?
is a weird one though, only had him a year haven't you?
Good sell. Pleased with this.
Good luck Clint but i'm not going to lie and say i'm upset with this. Scored a few very important goals but was still no where near good enough in my opinion. Still better for him anyway because he is back in his home country. Won't forget the United goals though and thanks for breaking the curse Clint
doovde, apparantly 6million. Pretty awesome price to be fair,
Not sure, just popped up on my twitter feed.
I suppose his high wages and the lack of game time he would have got made it difficult to justify us keeping him.
Always looked on the verge of breaking down mentally if you ask me, very glum looking chap.
Decent footballer though.

What do Spurs mean "returned to MLS" how can he play for the MLS ?
atb usa2......but we shld and look we will have beta players around than him.....
was never his biggest fan- lacked the technical ability the rest of the spurs' squad possess - but he did score some important goals and you could not fault his work rate so for that i wish him well
its all franchised there is it not...perhaps he's bought by the mls....and the clubs fight it out from there.....!?
Will love him for the winner at Man U, but never did enough to warrant a place.
If you got any more than £1m for him you've done well.
TOOR, apparantly 6 million mate.
Hmm, not too sure how I feel about this. If it's 6 mill then it's a decent price, but he was a good squad member to have about. Won't ever forget his goals vs man utd though: ended the curse at old Trafford and then indirectly led me to being chatted up on fb
Thanks clint
Should have kept him IMO , His a lot better than some of the shat we have in the squad .
I think it's the right move. Where was he going to fit in? You got a new winger in and also have Townend, Bale and Lennon who are natural wingers and better in that position than Dempsey. In attacking midfield you've got Bale, Holtby and Sigurdsson and whilst some may suggest Dempsey is better than the latter two, they are much younger and have the potential.
If you got £6m for him then you've got a great deal.
We are having a proper clear out!
£6M means he cost us nothing...Levy
