Fair enough Castor.

I don't want Rooney either, for similar reasons.

I personally think we could get Rooney for cheaper if he forced a move as utd wud rather sell to us than imo, he won't be banned for 6 games either.

Suarez on his own, we'll score more goals, but will we be a better team? Not so sure - though I guess by scoring more goals, the team might just... y'know, relax and play better...

Sign someone like Gustavo as well, and we might be in business. Suarez, Gustavo and Cesc... we're contenders again.

There is no doubt that Suarez is a very good player but Liverpool stink so I would prefer the likes of Michu and Fellaini

Don't worry; we won't be getting either.

Suarez, Gustavo and Cesc

Would be great business but is sadly not realistic.

Fortunate for you as you won't get him

Wenger has a long history of taming wild players. Trust Wenger. People doubt his buying but no one can dispute how he handles players.

When you see a world class footballer and CHEAT like Drogba turn a game on its head yesterday, you have to wonder why anybody still wouldn't want a world class footballer and cheat who could actually turn a game in our favor.

Who cares about the baggage he brings, yes he is a complete moron but it is part of his game and makes him the fantastic player he is. Also it would wind up with Scousers proper, don't know how anybody couldn't want him at Arsenal.

I would take him in a heartbeat because he is a great player imo. The nasty side to his game seems to come from an unusual personal desire to win, something we could do with.

And not to indulge in schadenfreude or anything, but it would be funny watching Got Better descend into total insanity if it did happen.

Yeh I've given up caring about morals now, lets get a cheat in and win something

posted on 5/8/13

To be fair BBF, the fact it would drive the scousers mental is almost a good enough reason to want him

Jenius. Yeah Wenger has a good record for taming idiots but for me Suarez is a lost cause in terms "curing" his ness. I just don't think he's all that either, I think even less of Rooney (who has regressed hugely over the last few seasons).

To be fair, you'd want someone who can cheat but also stay out of trouble when people are looking. Drogba, bar one angry rant at a TV camera, generally stayed out of trouble and only ever acted like a deplorable human being for the good of his own team. But with Suarez, the possibility of a lengthy ban or a stupid incident is always looming - it's like the need for a haircut in the army.

Agreed KPPR.

There's players who are essentially smart when it comes to cheating/cunning, players like Drogba, C.Ronaldo etc.

Then there's being an unhinged moron - Suarez, Barton (to a slightly greater extent) etc.

If that is you Batmanu, Missed that direct no nonsense style.

Spot on

Fact is Suarez just needs a manager who HE respects. I think Suarez's behaviour would have been different if Houllier had still been manager. I believe one reason why Suarez wants to come is Wenger. I bet Suarez recognizes how Wenger made Henry, Weah, Trez, Cesc, Bergkamp, as global names. He wants some of that magic. Suarez admitted himself that he would be talked of as footballer of the year if it had not been for how Liverpool handled the Evra situation.

And a couple b/stards in the team is exactly what we need to instill fear as we used to with Vieira and Bergkamp. People forget how violent a w/nker Dennis used to be to go along with the sublime skills.

He ia a liability in terms of the media stuff but as a footballer he is a boss.

In my opinion better than Tevez in his prime better thanCavani nearly as good as Falcao.
