Having 'Cayman Islands Eagle' put on the back must have cost you a pretty penny bud .
I'll always be a 'white with the red n blue sash man' myself but red n blue is here to stay. The new kit is good though.............................let's hope our performances follow suit
I have to say that i have never been the biggest fan of our red & blue home strip and have generally bought the away top and will probably do the same again this season.
I really didn't like it at first, however now I've seen the real thing rather than a computer image it's starting to grow on me. I personally really like the yellow bits. The reason for including yellow trims is because the first Palace team to get promoted to Division One had a claret and blue kit with yellow trims. Also the branding of red, blue and yellow works really well. For example the "South London & Proud" in yellow on a red and blue background.
My favourite kit is white with red and blue sash. However I wouldn't want us to change from red and blue stripes. Last season's home shirt did me well so I will be sticking with that
Thanks for putting me straight on the yellow trim Mon- good knowledge! Importantly, it means I will now be able to inform the "fans" at the pub sporting Barca shirts that actually it is Spanish outfit copying the mighty Palace!
Ha! I think Barca were using red and blue long before us. But that's not important, it's the yellow trim that goes all the way back to 1969.
Now I think about it yellow is quite lucky for Crystal Palace. If only Malcolm Allison had been "inspired" by Borussia Dortmund we might be a lot further along as a club

Ships at the Millenium Stadium and oooooooooo, THAT GAME and AMBROSE' GOAL at OT are the first two that spring to mind
After Sunday the new home kit hasn't won me over yet. The away kit however looks good. There was quite a bit of red, blue and black around Selhurst Park this weekend
