So who still thimks he is injured. I knew he wasnt and yo could tell last few days he has been moody and nit trying. There was always a very realistic possibility that he would try to force through a move to Arsenal, despite some on here steadfastly refusing the idea. It's a sickener but we've got to regroup and make sure we get the best out of it. Promises or not he's under contract and we feel confident on our standing.

Hopefully this will spark some activity abroad at Madrid or elsewhere at a cheaper fee. Around the 30m mark perhaps. Although this is going to be strenuous you feel over the next week.

The fact that he expects us to sell him under value just because we said that we would sell him is ridiculous.

I would say we have a legal advantage as we could just say that we value him for more than what is being offered. Argue that his value is £50m and it's irrelevant whether the bid is £40m or £10m - it's under what we value him and therefore we should not sell.
