Sako will be concerned that those who watched him against Preston will think he always plays that badly. If the idea was to both force people's hands and put him in the shop window, then it has badly backfired.
Maybe now he will step it up, especially seeing how Ismail is performing, could find himself having a miserable season as a bit part player.
Saturday showed all the worst aspects of Sako from last season. No excuse for a player of his talent to disappear from games for such long periods.

Moxey is an uncompromising negotiator and has got the club some good deals but has lost a few as well. The income we were hoping for from Sako and Doyle is important to the club so we need to do a deal for them even if we get a little less than we hoped.
Need to get a bit of money in and get the wage bill down so that Jackett is able to bring in a few additons
I'd personally rather keep sako. He had an off day on saturday but he could be the difference between getting promoted or not.
We seem to push the issue to far in some cases, and then not enough in others, like the Zubar one as an example.
One thing is for sure, we need to generate funds if we are going to strengthen the squad.
The only Champo club with the 4 mill we want is QPR, and Harry has shown no interest. And the only Prem club interested won't go over 2.5 mill.
Maybe he's not as saleable as we, and he, think.

Forest boss Billy Davies has stepped in after Sako's expected move to Fulham came off the rails. Davies is said to be willing to offer Dexter Blackstock as a part-exchange in any deal.
